Designing Instructional Media for Canvas: Captivate [Basics]

Captivate [Basics] provides an overview on how to design instructional media for academic and non-academic courses using Captivate. Instruction will focus on an overview of the tool, how to perform basic functions such as adding contextual quizzing, incorporating media, designing for accessibility, and exporting or publishing media.

This course is part of a five-course series surrounding “Content Authoring”. Other courses involve Pressbooks and Storyline. Click here for a full calendar of courses offered by DoIT Academic Technology.

This course is held in a computer lab. Attendees are welcome to bring their own device, or use one of the devices available in the lab.
