Learning Analytics Community of Practice: Identify struggling students

Friday, February 11 @ 12:00 am - 1:00 pm

Register

February 11: We’ll discuss student activity in a course; how can you tell if students are struggling?
The Learner Engagement Analytics Dashboard (LEAD) can help you identify students who may be struggling; which visualization is most useful in your own course? Are there other views and other tools that provide useful insights for you?

Held on the 2nd Friday of each month from 12-1:00pm, the LA CoP is designed to connect colleagues across campus in sharing learning analytics experiences. Share what you’ve learned, learn from your peers. These informal sessions provide an opportunity to discuss strategies using LA in teaching practices, and focus on various questions and topics. Each time we’ll share some examples of visualizations, and then provide time for you to explore and discuss analytics in your own course. Mark your calendar and join us for any/all of these sessions (still firming up some topics).
