This includes pedagogical discussions and technology demonstrations through Faculty Engagement programs, learning technology trainings from Learn@UW, on-campus sessions for Information Technology Academy scholars, technology workshops from Software Training for Students and special campus events we host or co-host. STS: Excel 1

September 6 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Excel 1 introduces students to basic spreadsheet terminology and the simple navigation of the Excel desktop. This course teaches the skills necessary to construct an operative spreadsheet and create graphs or charts from data.

Topics include:

  • Navigating the Excel environment
  • Entering and editing data
  • Using formulas and functions
  • Importing data
  • Viewing, sorting, and filtering data
  • Charting
  • Printing

Note: Software Training for Students services are only available to currently registered undergraduate or graduate students of UW-Madison. Faculty, staff and former students are not eligible to attend our training workshops or consultations.
