August 14, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

NOTE! This class is taught using Excel 2013 for Windows. The Excel features used in this course are not available in the Mac version of Excel.

Some previous programming experience will help with understanding programming concepts but is not required.

Topics include:

  • About macros
  • VBA and the Visual Basic Editor
  • Recording macros
  • Programming basics
  • Saving macros and add-ins

Note: Software Training for Students services are only available to currently registered undergraduate or graduate students of UW-Madison. Faculty, staff and former students are not eligible to attend our training workshops or consultations.
