STS: Illustrator 1 (Remote)
Thursday, February 24 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmRegister
IMPORTANT: Unlike in-person workshops, all STS remote workshops require students to have all necessary software pre-installed before the start of the session. You may download a 7-day trial for Adobe at adobe.com and download the necessary software. You can also attend the workshop virtually from any campus library computer or check-out a laptop from most campus libraries to take home.
In this workshop, students explore the favorite tool of many creative professionals, Adobe Illustrator. Used by designers and artists around the world, this powerful vector graphics program makes it easy to create logos, posters, product labels, icons, website mockups and more.
Students will learn the basics of Illustrator, work with shapes, text, and color, and create projects from scratch. Designs include logo icons, a website banner and a business card.
