This includes pedagogical discussions and technology demonstrations through Faculty Engagement programs, learning technology trainings from Learn@UW, on-campus sessions for Information Technology Academy scholars, technology workshops from Software Training for Students and special campus events we host or co-host. STS: WordPress 1: WordPress.com

WordPress.com offers a simple solution for getting basic websites up and running quickly, with no coding or technical knowledge needed. This course provides an introduction to WordPress.com and guides you through the process of setting up a simple site.

Topics include:

  • Creating a WordPress.com site
  • Configuring the look and layout of the site
  • Adding pages, text and images
  • Incorporating audio and video
  • Integrating social media
