Top Hat – Advanced Topics

Tuesday, August 30 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Register

Top Hat is the centrally supported student response system for University of Wisconsin-Madison. It provides a rich array of tools and features — pop-questions, surveys, heat maps, etc. — for engaging and interacting with students in real time.

This webinar will be delivered by our dedicated Top Hat customer support representative. Learn how to effectively teach your hybrid or online course using Top Hat. This webinar will define hybrid learning, outline its continual rise to prominence and, ultimately, equip you with best practices for structuring your hybrid course. We will also cover online courses and the way you can use Top Hat to engage students asynchronously. You’ll also learn how to increase comprehension, inside and outside of the classroom, both synchronously and asynchronously.

This session will be held in a Zoom room, hosted by the vendor. A link to that Zoom room will be provided in the confirmation email you will receive after registering for the session. To log into the session the day of the event, click here.

This training session is organized and hosted by Learn@UW-Madison. To explore (and register for) other sessions related to our Learn@UW tools, visit the DoIT Academic Technology Events calendar.
