What is Top Hat? Engaging Today’s Students in the Classroom

August 29 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

With the rise of smartphones, today’s students are more distracted than ever. Come see how the Top Hat app is revolutionizing teaching by helping instructors turn mobile devices into classroom engagement tools. Representatives from Top Hat, the campus-preferred classroom response system that integrates with Canvas, will be on campus to demo the product and explain how others on campus have implemented it with their students. This session is designed for those that are interested in using Top Hat in the Fall 2017/Spring 2018 semesters. Please bring your laptops or tablets, this will be an interactive workshop!

Top Hat is part of the Learn@UW-Madison suite of learning technologies. More information about the tool is here.
