Some schools and colleges provide additional support for their instructors and instructional staff. Learn@UW-Madison assists everyone who uses the tools we support, but we recommend first contacting the following groups if you are part of the mentioned school or college.

College of Engineering

Instructors in the Engineering Professional Development department should contact for support. 

The Interdisciplinary Professional Programs (InterPro) provides technical support and consultations for the other Engineering departments. Instructors and instructional staff can contact or visit for drop-in hours, resources, workshops and more information.

College of Letters and Science

The L&S Instructional Design Collaborative provides support for course design and instructional technology, as well as up-to-date facilities, equipment, and training. Please visit the IDC website to learn more and get help.

Media, Education, Resources, and Information Technology (MERIT) consultants can be contacted at for support with instructional technologies, educational resources, and course design.

School of Medicine and Public Health

The School of Nursing’s Academic Technology department offers SoN faculty, staff, and teaching assistants consulting, assistance, and training/development in the effective use of technologies that directly support teaching of SoN timetable courses in the undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
